A Mare Street barbershop, the traditional way
Crew Cuts has been cutting hair on Mare Street since 2016, a proper neighbourhood barbershop for Hackney: barber chairs, hot towels, a good playlist and a chair for everyone from school runs to sharp Friday fades.
The barbers here are known by name, regulars ask for Mehmet by first name, and take the time to work out exactly what you want before they pick up the clippers. Bring a reference or leave it to them.

No, Crew Cuts is a walk-in barbershop, so you can turn up whenever suits you. If you'd rather not wait, or you're bringing the kids, give us a ring on 020 4537 5830 and we'll let you know how busy the chairs are.
We're open Monday to Saturday from 8:30am to 8:00pm, and Sunday from 9:00am to 6:00pm, seven days a week with late finishes for after-work cuts. The banner near the top of this page shows live whether we're open right now.
A haircut and wash is £17, a buzz cut is £15 and a kids cut is £12. Add a beard trim for £13, or go for the Crew Full Service, cut, wash, shave, facial and hot towel, at £35. The full list is in the prices section above and up in the shop window.
Yes, skin fades, tapers, textured crops, beard shaping and clipper patterns are our bread and butter. Bring a photo of what you're after or talk it through with your barber, either way you'll leave sharp.
